ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondent to deal with the application submitted by the petitioner and to issue Death Certificate in the name of V.P.Venkatasamy, who is the father of the petitioner and who died on 21.12.2016.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent produced the proceedings of the respondent dated 14.08.2025. On going through the same, it is seen that the respondent has ordered for issuing Death Certificate. A copy of the proceedings was also placed before this Court. 3.In view of the above, the concerned official shall act upon the order passed by the respondent and issue the Death Certificate to the petitioner, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
