Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to restrain the second respondent from registering any rectification/revocation deed executed by the first respondent and admitted by the second respondent viz., The Sub Registrar, Ashok Nagar as per the letter bearing No.NIL/16 dated 09.09.2016 to rectify the settlement deed dated -6/12/2013 registered as Doc/No/3027/2013 in Bk.I in the Office of Sub Registrar Ashok Nagar in respect of property being First Floor residential portion measuring about 1404 Sq.ft. together with 678 Sq.ft. of undivided share in the land comprised in T.S.No.57 part, Block No.44 at Old No.33, New No.2, Bakthavatchalam Street, West Mambalam, Chennai - 33, such registration will be against public policy.
