The parties are present.

2. Considering the nature of the offence, which arises out of a quarrel between a group of college students and taking note of the fact that the defacto complainant is present before this Court and both parties have amicably settled the issue and further taking into account their undertaking before the Court that they will not indulge in similar skirmishes in future and will attend college regularly and focus on their education, I am of the view that this is a fit case for the exercise of the extraordinary power of this Court under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code. Accordingly, the offence is quashed.

3. In view thereof, the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed. 06.08.2025 nsl To The Inspector of Police, Peelamedu Police Station, Coimbatore District.
