Respondent Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of habeas corpus, directing the respondents, in particularly, the third respondent to produce the detenu viz., Thirumuruga Veera Pandiyan S/o Ponnuraman aged about 45 years before this Court and set him at liberty forth with.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) Alleging that the detenu, viz., Thirumuruga Veera Pandiyan S/o Ponnuraman, aged about 45 years, who is the son of the petitioner, is under illegal detention of the second respondent, Page No.1 of 2 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the present habeas corpus petition has been filed.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the detenu is an accused in Crime No.189 of 2019 for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 342, 365 ad 385 IPC and he would be produced before the Judicial Magistrate No.V, Salem as the detenu was arrested only in the morning, which factum is not disputed by the petitioner.

3. Inasmuch as a case has been registered against the detenu/accused and arrest has been shown, we do not find any illegal detention is involved. Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
