This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to provide police protection to the petitioner by considering his representation dated 26.10.2022.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is being harassed by his own son (fourth respondent) and he is not permitted to undertake agricultural activities of his own lands. Though the representation has been given by the petitioner, the respondents 1 to 3 did not offer any protection as requested by him. 4.
The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the fourth respondent has also 2/4
given a complaint against the petitioner and F.I.Rs. have been registered on both the complaints given by the parties in Crime Nos.362 and 363 of 2022 on 21.10.2022.

The allegation made by the petitioner is that he is not allowed to do agricultural activities in his lands in view of the resistance given by his son (fourth respondent). Since the matter is civil in nature, the rightful course open to the petitioner is to file a civil suit for seeking appropriate remedy.

With these observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
