This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 340 days in filing the writ appeal.

Though this Court is satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, considering the huge delay in filing the above appeal, delay is condoned on condition that the petitioner shall pay a sum of Rs.1,000/- (Rupees one thousand) to the credit of Advocate Clerk Association, Madras High Court, Chennai within one week from the date of receipt of copy of this order, failing which, this petition will be automatically dismissed without any reference to this court.

3. Upon production of receipt for payment of costs, this civil miscellaneous petition stands ordered.
