[RESPONDENTS] Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 2.9.2015 of the petitioner and to grant permission or license to the petitioner to erect a bunk shop in the category of disabled person at any place in the limit of Corporation of Chennai.

Heard Mr.G.Rajan, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.R.M.Muthukar, learned Additional Government Pleader accepting for the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.P.V.Selvakumar, learned counsel accepting for the fourth respondent.

2.The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking for a direction upon the respondents to consider her representation dated 02.09.2015, to erect a Bunk Shop.

3.The petitioner is a speech and hearing impact person and she has been assessed at 100% disability. The petitioner seeks for eking her livelihood by putting up a small bunk shop and in that regard she submitted a representation to the respondents on 02.09.2015.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the respondent Corporation submitted that a direction may be issued to the fourth respondent to consider the petitioner's representation in accordance with law.

5.In the light of the above, the competent authority of the Corporation of Chennai, is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.09.2015, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
