Petition is filed to quash the criminal case pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Mayiladuthurai in C.C.No.700048 of 2023.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, during the temple festival there was a wordy quarrel between ex-president and the defacto complainant. Therefore, complaint was lodged by the defacto complainant, which is now culminated in final report.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, parties are relatives living in same locality and therefore, they don't want to purse the matter.
4. The reason stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner cannot be a ground to quash the case pending against before the trial Court. Petitioner has to explore fortuity of getting the offence compounded or seek for plea bargain.

5. With the above observations and directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
