Srinivasan, Conductor No.C51646, No.1, Periyar Street, Rani Anna Nagar, Arumbakkam, Chennai - 600 106 ... Respondent This case came up for settlement before the Lok Adalat. Both the parties present. The learned counsel for the petitioner Mr.P. Paramasiva Doss present. After mutual discussion, negotiation, mediation and conciliation between both parties, they arrived at a compromise to settle the matter as follows:

ORDER

1.The Writ Petition in W.P. No.42493 of 2016 pending on the file of the High Court, Madras has been referred to Lok Adalat for Conciliation today.

2.The Writ Petitioner, the Management of Metropolitan Transport Corporation (Chennai Limited) Chennai and contesting second respondent are present before the Lok Adalat for conciliation today.

3.The Writ Petitioner has filed Writ petition praying Hon'ble High Court to pass of Writ of certiorari or any Writ, order or direction to call for records of the order passed by the 1st respondent in approval petition in A.P. No.453 of 2011 dated 17.04.2014 and to quash the same as illegal. After great deliberation and discussion, the dispute has been compromised between the parties and the petitioner and 2nd respondent filed a joint memo containing a promise of compromise. The Joint memo is recorded.

4.In view of the compromise arrived at between both parties, in light of the joint memo filed, the writ petition is disposed of in terms of Joint Memo by Lok Adalat today. 5.The Joint memo between the Writ petitioner and 2nd Respondent will form part of this award. No order as to cost. The award is passed accordingly.
