This petition under Section 17(B) is filed to direct the respondent to pay the petitioner Rs.54,648/- per month, which was his last drawn salary, pending writ petition filed by the respondent challenging the Award dated 07.07.2022.

2. The petitioner has filed an affidavit stating that he is not gainfully employed ever since the date of his termination dated 20.07.2017.

3. The respondent has not filed any counter denying the statement of the petitioner that he is not gainfully employed.

4. In view of the statement made by the petitioner in his affidavit, a direction is issued to the respondent to pay the arrears of salary at Rs.54,648/- per month (the last drawn salary) of the petitioner herein within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The respondent is further directed to pay the monthly salary of Rs.54,648/- on or before 7th of every month.

5. Both the learned counsels request that date may be fixed for final disposal of the writ petition. Considering the writ petition is of the year 2022 date is fixed for final disposal on 25.03.2024.

6. Accordingly, 17-B petition is ordered as prayed for. Registry is directed to post the connected W.P.No.30316 of 2022 along with the present writ petition on 25.03.2024 at 02.15 p.m for final disposal. 08.02.2024 dsn 2/3
