The maintenance petition is of the year 2018 filed by the petitioner herein was dismissed for default and non appearance, in the year 2022 and the same was restored in the month of August 2023. Now, the petitioner is before the Court to direct the Family Court to expedite the Page No.1/3

proceedings pending on its file.

2. From the notes paper of the trial court, this Court finds the delay is not due to court, but due to the conduct of the petitioner herein. Since her petition has now been restored on file, this court finds that if the petitioner cooperates with the disposal of the matter, the Family Court can complete the enquiry without any further delay.
