O R D E R

(Order of the Court delivered by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM,J.,) The present contempt petition has been filed to punish the respondent for his willful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 01.06.2022 made in W.P.No.13600 of 2022.

2. Relevant paragraph of order dated 01.06.2022 in W.P.No.13600 of 2022 is paragraph No.4 and the same is extracted hereunder: "4. In the light of the above observations, there shall be a direction to the first respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.04.2022, if action has not already been taken, on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any of its views with regard to the merits of the claim of the petitioner and that it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the same on its own merits."

3. Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader would Page No.2 of 4

submit that the order of this Court dated 01.06.2022 made in W.P.No.13600 of 2022 has been complied with and the Tahsildar, Thirukazhukundram, passed an order vide proceedings dated 19.07.2023 considering the representation submitted by the petitioner.

4. That being so, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken and the Contempt Petition stands closed.
