ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 03.07.2025 for issuance of patta and chitta in respect of the property ad-measuring 1.50 acres in Survey No.879/4 situated at Krishnagiri District, Denganikotta Taluk, Nagamangalam Village.
2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
3. The case of the petitioner is that already the adjacent lands were granted patta in favour of the petitioner's relatives. Therefore, the petitioner also submitted a representation seeking patta in respect of the land comprised in Survey No.879/4 situated at Krishnagiri District, Denganikotta Taluk, Nagamangalam Village.
4. On written instructions, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that in the land comprised in S.No.879/4, an extent of 0.04.00 hectare alone is available. That apart, it is classified as
Government Poromboke land and there is no scheme to issue patta for the Government Poramboke land to the individuals.
5. In view of the above, the direction sought for in this writ petition cannot be considered and the writ petition is devoid of merits and is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. 13.10.2025 Internet: Yes Index : Yes/No Speaking/Non Speaking order mn
