Heard Mr. J.Franklin, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner, Mrs. N.Senthil Selvi, Learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the First Respondent and Mr. P.Rajarajeswaran, Learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the Second Respondent and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties. 2.

When it was pointed out that in view of the decision of the Division Bench of this Court in District Revenue Officer, Tiruvallur, Thiruvallur District -vs- S.Krishna Reddy (Order dated 20.04.2021 in W.A. No. 984 of 2020), the Petitioner would have to approach the jurisdictional Criminal Court for release of his seized vehicle, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition reserving the rights of the Petitioner to pursue any further course of action, if such necessity arises before proper forum in the manner recognized by law, and he has made an endorsement to that effect in the court record. 2/4

In the result, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn granting such liberty. No costs.
