Prayer: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 to punish the respondents for willful disobedience of the order dated 18.04.2013 passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.24763 of 2011. O R D E R

(The case has been heard through video conference) Earlier this Court by an order dated 18.04.2013, while closing the criminal original petition filed by the petitioner stated that, it is open to the Government to conduct enquiry/investigation at the earliest and proceed in accordance with law. Alleging that even after the order has been passed by this Court, no investigation was conducted, hence the present contempt petition has been filed.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents, on instructions submitted that the 5th respondent Vigilance Commissioner conducted enquiry and after enquiry closed the complaint stating that the allegation has not been proved and therefore further action is dropped. The said statement is recorded.

3. As the order of this Court has been complied with, this contempt petition is closed. No costs.
