Mr.J.C.Durairaj, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the first respondent and Mr.Najeeb Usman Khan, learned counsel for the second and third respondents. 2.This writ petition is disposed of at the time of admission, without expressing any opinion on merits of the case subject to the petitioners depositing 50% of the enhanced amount of tax which has been demanded within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Subject to such compliance, the second and third respondents shall 2/4

consider and pass appropriate orders and dispose claim of the petitioners on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks thereafter. No costs. Consequently, connected writ miscellaneous petition is closed.
