passed by the second respondent in his proceedings in No.855/BCDFGISSSV/2024 dated 17.08.2024 and quash the same as illegal and produce the detenu, namely Vasanthakumar S/o. Elumalai aged 24 yrs, Goonda now he is confined in Central Prison, Puzhal-II, Chennai before this Hon'ble Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent in proceedings in No.855/BCDFGISSSV/2024 dated 17.08.2024 is sought to be quashed in the present Habeas Corpus Petition.

2. Mr.E.Raj Thilak, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that the impugned order of detention has already been revoked by the competent Authority and thus, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken.

3.In view of the above submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
