..Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the second Respondent to rectify the entry pertaining to petitioners land measuring approximately 4 cents situated in Grama Natham Old Survey No.701 (part) Grama Natham, New Survey No.844/8, Sholinganallur Village, Sholinganallur Taluk, Chennai District made in the Adangal Register as Grama Natham instead 1/4

of Street.

O R D E R

By the consent of both the parties this writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner the petitioner is the owner of the subject property and he was in possession and enjoyment of the same. Whileso the 3rd respondent has entered in the Grama Natham Adangal Register the subject land as Street instead of Grama Natham. Hence the petitioner made a representation to the first and second respondents on 14.09.2020 to rectify the said error and the same was forward to the 3rd respondent to take action on 03.10.2020. However, the same was not considered till date. Hence this petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would be suffice if this Court issues a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.09.2020 within a stipulated time as 2/4

fixed by this Court.

4. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

5. In view of the above, this Court directs directs the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.09.2020 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above terms, this present writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
