ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, Mr.L.Baskaran, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing on behalf of the Superintendent of Police, Namakkal, has placed the report of enquiry conducted by the Superintendent of Police, Namakkal District.

2. On going through the same, it is seen that after collecting the statements of police officials as well as other witnesses, an FIR has been registered in Crime No.312/2025 on the file of Puduchatram Police Station, Namakkal, for offences under Section 132, 316(2), 49 BNS Act, against the four named accused persons. A1 has been arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 25.10.2025.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that insofar as other accused persons are concerned, already notices have been issued under Section 35(3) of BNSS Act and they have been called for enquiry.

4. Mr.R.Vijayaragavan, Additional Superintendent of Police, Cyber Crime, Namakkal District and Ms.V.Gomathi, Inspector of Police, Puduchathiram Police Station, Namakkal District, are present today at the time of hearing.

5. It is also brought to the notice of the Court that the additional remuneration has been paid to the Advocate Commissioner and the vehicle has been re-possessed and action has been taken by the police.

6. In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed in this application and accordingly, this application is disposed of. No costs. 13.11.2025 Index : Yes / No Speaking order / Non-speaking order ds 3/4
