Jitender Singh Parmar v. The Union Of India,

2024-11-04Honourable Mr Justice D. Krishnakumar,Honourable Mr Justice P.B. Balaji1 pages

CMP No.22229, 22052 of 2024 in WA SR No.50706, 50692 of 2023 D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.

AND P.B.BALAJI, J.

CMP No.22229 and 22052 of 2024 have been filed to condone the delay of 499 and 457 days respectively in filing the respective writ appeals.

Though we are satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavits filed along with the petitions, considering such inordinate delay in filing the appeals, we inclined to allow the petitions by imposing costs.

Accordingly, both the petitions are allowed, subject to the payment of Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only) each (totally Rs.1,000/-) by the petitioner to the Advocate Clerks Association, Madras High Court, Chennai, within one week.

Post the matter next week for reporting compliance.
