Petitioners Vs Mr.M.Gnanasekaran The Inspector of Police Karamadai Police Station Coimbatore Coimbatore District 641 104 (Cr.No.193/2025) Contemnor Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 to punish the respondent for wilful disobedience of the order of this Hon'ble Court made in Crl.O.P.No.18182 of 2025 dated 01.07.2025.

ORDER

The learned counsel for petitioner submitted that the contemnor has given wrong information as if the charge sheet was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Mettupalayam on 23.06.2025. Whereas when the copy application was filed before the competent Court, the same was returned on the ground that no charge sheet was filed and therefore, the petitioner has filed the present contempt petition.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent submitted that the respondent has already laid the charge sheet through email filing on 23.06.2025 and that subsequent to the filing of the charge sheet, the case has also been taken on file in C.C.No.104 of 2025 dated 23.07.2025 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Mettupalayam.

3. In view of the same, this Court does not find that the order passed by this Court has been violated. Therefore, this contempt petition is dismissed. 23-01-2026 ss
