ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.K.Kathiresan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

2. An appeal is filed by the petitioner under Section 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905. The appeal is filed only on 08.09.2023.

3. The petitioner may file a stay application. The authorities may consider and decide the appeal filed by the petitioner, if pending, on its own merits and in accordance with law expeditiously.

4. In the light of that, the writ petition stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
