2. In pursuant to that order, the petitioner has not submitted any representation seeking license. However, the respondent herein filed a status report wherein it is stated that the petitioner herein has not filed any application in prescribed format under Rule 7 (2) of the Tamil Nadu Panchayats (Opening and Maintenance of Market) Rules, 2000. However, he conducted auction on 04.08.2023 and intimated the same to the respondent by his letter dated 31.07.2023.

3. In view of the fact that the petitioner failed to give any application/representation seeking license to run the market as directed in the above said order.
