The petitioner herein / accused in Crime No.160 of 2017 is at jumped bail leading to issuance of NBW on 23.08.2021. He was secured by the police only on 08.02.2025.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks bail on the ground that the petitioner was working as a coolie and after breakdown of epidemic in the year 2019, he was not able to attend the Court. 3.However, considering the fact that the absconding of this petitioner had stalled the progress of the criminal trial in PRC No.37 of 2017 for the alleged offence under Sections 397, 450 & 395 of IPC, this Court is not inclined to entertain the bail petition and the same stands dismissed. 4.The respondent police is directed to take necessary steps for completion of the trial within a reasonable time. 03.09.2025 smv 2/3
