ORDER

By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. In view of the order that this Court proposes to pass and also the limited relief that is sought to be granted, notice to 4th respondent is dispensed with.

2. The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 08.04.2025, against the order in Na.Ka.No.135/2020/A2, dated 29.07.2021 issued by the 2nd respondent.

3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for petitioner that petitioner preferred an appeal on 08.04.2025 against the order of the 2nd respondent dated 29.07.2021 in Na.Ka.No.135/2020/A2, cancelling patta registered documents and deeds in respect of the property comprised in S.No.71/1A (i.e., 71/1), situated at Karadiputhur Village, Gummudipoondi Taluk, Tiruvallur District, which is stated 2/5

to be kept pending. Hence, this writ petition.

At the outset, it is submitted by Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 3 that the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 08.04.2025 would be disposed of after affording the petitioner, 4th respondent and other interested parties, if any, a reasonable opportunity of hearing, if it is otherwise in order. Agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner.

5. In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the appropriate respondent to consider and dispose of the appeal dated 08.04.2025 after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to petitioner, 4th respondent and other interested parties, if any, within a period of 16 weeks from the date of uploading of web copy without waiting for receipt of certified copy of order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the matter on its own merits and in accordance with law.
