JUDGMENT

(Delivered by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.S.Gopinathan, learned counsel for the appellant and Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

2. The present appellant had file a writ petition, bearing W.P.No.21527 of 2023, seeking directions to consider and pass orders on the appeal filed by the appellant so as to allot/assign the land as detailed in the writ petition to the appellant. The learned Single Judge, on merits, made observations and dismissed the writ petition. Aggrieved thereby, the present appeal is filed.

3. It appears that subsequent to the passing of the order by the learned Single Judge, the appeal filed by the appellant is dismissed. The appellant has filed a revision before the

government.

4. It is for the authorities to take a decision upon the revision filed by the appellant. We may hasten to add that the observations made by learned Single Judge may not influence the authority while deciding the revision and the revision shall be decided on its own merits and in accordance with the law and the policy. Of course, all the facts would be considered by the authority deciding the revision. With these observations, the writ appeal is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, C.M.P.No.25964 of 2023 is closed.
