ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to issue a direction to the second respondent to file a Charge Sheet in Crime No.539 of 2024. 2, The case of the petitioner is that on 13.11.2024 at about 2.00 p.m. his son was hit by a vehicle bearing registration No.KA05-QB-6187 Hero Splendor Plus Bike and caused severe injuries, due to which his son died on the spot. In this regard, the petitioner had preferred a complaint before the second respondent. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the First Information Report has been registered, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, the present petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side] on instructions submitted that the investigation is in progress and the second respondent will complete investigation and file the final report within a period of four weeks.

4. In view of the submissions of the learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side], the second respondent is directed to complete investigation and file the final report within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
