The petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the proceedings of second respondent dated 23.06.2025 vide Na.Ka.En.A2/3581/2012 and quash the same and consequently direct the second respondent to release the entire monitory benefits of deceased Mr.Shrinivasan to the petitioners.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the first petitioner is the wife of late Shirinivasan and the second petitioner is the daughter of late Shirinivasan. Late Shirinivasan was working as Agricultural Officer and voluntarily retired from service on 10.10.2012 and at the time of retirement, his place of employment was at the office of the third respondent and his retirement benefits were not settled to him and he died on 12.12.2021 and after his death, the first petitioner approached the third respondent claiming retirement and death benefits and family pension, however, she 2/4

received a letter dated 10.04.2023 from the second respondent stating that the names of Usha Devi and Hari Prasad were entered as wife and child in the service record of the deceased employee. The learned counsel further submitted that this Court may without going into the merits of the case, grant liberty to the petitioners to approach the competent Court for appropriate remedy.

3.Considering the limited relief now sought for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, grant liberty to the petitioners to approach the competent Court for appropriate remedy. 4.The writ petition is disposed of.
