(This case has been heard through video conference) This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the final report in C.C.No.86 of 2017 pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Chidambaram .

After hearing the arguments, this Court is about to dismiss the case on merits, the learned counsel appearing for petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this petition with a liberty to raise all his defence before the trial Court. It is well open to the petitioner herein to raise all legal defence before the Trial Court. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn and his personal appearance before the trial court is dispensed with except for answering charges, receiving copies and 313 questioning or any other dates as and when required by the trial court. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
