Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to expedite the process of application with file No.MA1074658259322 dated 10.10.2022 and reissue the petitioner passport with additional pages.

2.Learned Central Government Standing Counsel, appearing for the 1st respondent would submit that only a show cause notice has been issued to the petitioner to explain with regard to the circumstances under which the material information has been suppressed in his passport application and to produce certain documents, however the petitioner instead of giving proper explanation to the show cause notice and appearing before the authorities, has preferred the present writ petition. Accordingly, prays for dismissal of the same. 3.Such view of the matter, the petitioner is hereby directed to appear before the 1st respondent pursuant to the notice dated 18.10.2022 Page No.2 of 4

and submit the required documents. On such submission, the 1st respondent shall expedite the process as per law. 4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
