2. Heard learned counsel for appellant and learned Special Government Pleader for respondents 4 to 6. There is no appearance for first respondent, partyin-person.
3. S.L.P.No.665 of 2018, preferred by appellant, challenging the judgment in W.A.No.1007 of 2017 dated 21.08.2017 came to dismissed under judgment dated 29.01.2018, wherein it had been observed thus: '3. No ground for interference is made in exercise of our jurisdiction under Article 136 of the Constitution of India. The special leave petition is accordingly dismissed. Pending application, if any, stands disposed of.
4. However, other grievance of the petitioner is that the writ appeals filed before the High Court, are required to be heard by the Single Judge. There is no objection with regard to clubbing of the writ petitions which have been filed by the parties and to be heard by Single Judge.
5. It would be appropriate in the fitness of the case that all the writ petitions are clubbed together and heard by the Single Judge.
6. It is stated by learned counsel that the petitioner has already been promoted. His statement is placed on record. The promotion of the petitioner is not to be disturbed. Accordingly, nothing survives in the writ appeals pending before the High Court and the same stand disposed of. Accordingly, this petition is disposed of with aforesaid directions.'
C.T.SELVAM, J and M.V.MURALIDARAN, J gm In the light of the above judgment, the Writ Appeals do not survive consideration. Accordingly, the Writ Appeals are dismissed. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
