1. Issue notice. Mr.P.S.Sivashanmugasundaram, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

2. The limited plea of the petitioner, is that, even though, he submitted a representation dated 20.07.2016 for issuance of Kurumans S.T. Community Certificate, the same has not been disposed of, as yet. In support of this plea, the petitioner relies upon the Anthropological report dated 18.02.2015. This is a report, evidently, submitted by the Director of Tribal Welfare.

3. Counsel for the respondent says that the respondent would have no difficulty in this Court directing consideration of the representation filed by the petitioner.

4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.07.2016, albeit, in accordance with law.

5. Needless to say, the aforementioned exercise will be carried out as expeditiously as possible, though, not later than eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order.
