PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the second respondent 17.08.2024 in No.851/BCDFGISSSV/2024 against the petitioner husband Ranjith, male, aged 29 years S/o. Prakash, who is confined at Central Prison, Puzhal and set aside the same and direct the respondent to produce the detenu before this court and set him at liberty.

Mr.E.Raj Thilak, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that the impugned order of detention has already been revoked by the competent Authority vide G.O.Rt.No.6928, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIII) Department dated 03.10.2024.
Therefore, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken and the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
