Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to provide adequate police protection to remove the illegal and unauthorized construction of compound wall constructed around the property comprised of Sruvey No.148/14 (Old No.121/11) ad measuring 08.3/4 cents situated at ECR,

Kottaimedu, Kottakuppam, Vanur Taluk, Villupuram District and consequently directing them to give police protection so as to enter into the house of the petitioner for a period of three days by considering the representation dated 08.07.2024 sent by the petitioner.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondents 2 and 3 to provide adequate police protection to remove the illegal and unauthorized construction of compound wall constructed around the property comprised of Sruvey No.148/14 (Old No.121/11) ad measuring 08.3/4 cents situated at ECR, Kottaimedu, Kottakuppam, Vanur Taluk, Villupuram District and consequently directing them to give police protection so as to enter into the house of the petitioner for a period of three days by considering the representation dated 08.07.2024 sent by the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the third respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the representation made by the petitioner dated 08.07.2024 and in the light of the decree obtained by the petitioner dated 29.10.2020 in O.S. No.89 of 2019 before the Principal Sub Court, Tindivanam, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and respondents 4 and 5 and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
