ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed to direct respondents to pass orders on the petitioner's Appeal dated 12.07.2025.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that vide order dated 16.06.2025, the petitioner was dismissed from service. Aggrieved by the said order, the petitioner has filed an appeal before the appellate authority on 12.07.2025. It is the submission of the petitioner that, in the order of disciplinary authority, there is also a direction to recover the financial losses allegedly caused by the petitioner.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner further would submit that if any recovery is effected before the disposal of the appeal, it would cause hardship to the petitioner in the event of any reversal of the orders of the disciplinary authority.

4. At this juncture, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that they will consider the petitioner's appeal dated 12.07.2025 within reasonable time.

In view of the above submissions, without going into the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 12.07.2025 and pass orders within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, based on its own merits and in accordance with law. Until then the respondents are restrained from deducting any recovery based on the orders of the disciplinary authority.

6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs. 07.08.2025 rpl 3/5
