The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.399 of 2022, pending on the file of the respondent police.
2. Today, when this petition is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the defacto complainant and the accused have compromised themselves and the defacto complainant is not pursuing the case any further.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the investigation is yet to be completed. The petitioners herein are directed to appear before the Investigating Officer along with the defacto complainant with whom he claims to have settled the issue. On such appearance, the Investigating Officer shall record their statement and close the complaint, if it does not deserve any further action.
