ORDER

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 02.07.2025, for the offences punishable under Sections 296(b), 115(2), 311, 351(3) of BNS Act in Crime No. 473 of 2025, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with coaccused had entered into the defacto complainant's juice shop, demanded money and robbed a sum of Rs.640/- from his pocket at knife point and also threatened him with dire consequences. Hence, the case.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed on him. Hence, he prayed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that the petitioner along with co-accused had entered into the defacto complainant's juice shop, demanded money and robbed a sum of Rs.640/- from his pocket at knife point and also threatened him with dire consequences. He also submitted that there are six previous cases pending Page No.2/4

against the petitioner. He also submits that in this case, investigation is pending. Hence, he opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case and taking note of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) and also considering the fact that six previous cases were pending against the petitioner and also investigation is still pending, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
