ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to transfer the FIR in Crime No.213 of 2022 from the second respondent to some other investigation agency.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that based on the direction issued by the XVI Metropolitan Magistrate Court, George under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C., the second respondent police registered a case in Crime No.213 of 2022 dated 08.04.2022. Since no further action has been taken to complete the investigation so far, the present petition has been filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate (crl. Side), appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that investigation in respect of Crime No.213 of 2022 has already been completed and a final report has also been filed for the offences under Sections 502, 509 r/w. 149 of IPC in E.filing 2/4

number CC-LTN20220001480C202500105.

4. The CD file produced by Mr. Balamurugan, Sub Inspector, N1 Royapuram, Chennai, who is present before this Court on behalf of the second respondent police, has also been perused.

5. In view of the fact that investigation has already been completed and the final report has also been filed, transfer of investigation does not arise.
