O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to pass orders on the representation submitted by the College of Education dated 21.08.2024 consequent to the notice issued by the respondent in No.TNTEU/R/Affln/Show Cause Notice/2024/01160 dated 16.08.2024 and pass orders for granting of Continuation of Provisional Affiliation (CPA) in favour of the petitioner's College from the academic session 2024-2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner's Trust is an Educational Health and Charitable Trust and established a College of Education in the year 2008 and subsequently, the petitioner's Trust has
shifted the College to the own building located at Attur Road, Murugoor Post, Thuraiyur Taluk, Trichy District in the year 2011 and submitted written representation on 02.05.2011 with shifting application form to NCTE and pending application for shifting of Institution, after advent of new Regulations 2014, NCTE issued orders dated 29.05.2015. The Inspection Team/Visiting Team caused inspection of the College in the shifted premises in the month of September 2016 and thereafter, the subject was placed before SRC NCTE in December 2017, based on which, a show cause notice was issued to the College and subsequently, the petitioner's Institution also submitted details to NCTE as called for, however, no order has been passed by SRC NCTE.
The College of Education is being recognized by NCTE given affiliation by the respondent in the year 2009 and the affiliation is renewed/extended once in three years and the last order of Continuation of Provisional Affiliation (CPA) was granted by the respondent in the year 2021 for the period upto June 2024.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if the respondent is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 21.08.2024 on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.

Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 21.08.2024 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
