ORDER

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. Mr.L.P.Shanmugasundaram, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. The petitioner would state that he joined the services of the 3rd respondent / Society as a Clerk and got his promotion as the Secretary on 01.04.2015 and after rendering hard, sincere and blemishless service, attained the age of superannuation on 31.03.2016 and was permitted to retire. The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that even though he has retired from service on 31.03.2016, the terminal benefits such as Provident Fund, Gratuity, Leave Salary etc., have not been disbursed at all. submitted a representation dated 15.07.2016 to the respondents 1 to 3 and the 2nd respondent vide communication dated 26.07.2016, has directed the 3rd respondent to take appropriate steps and since his grievance is yet to be addressed, the petitioner is before this Court by way of filing the present writ petition.

Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.L.P.Shanmugasundaram, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. This Court, taking into consideration, the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, directs the 3rd respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 15.07.2016 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.

The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
