O R D E R

The petitioner herein has filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.09.2019.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had purchased the property in S.F.No.1/1 of No.4, Palaripettu Village, Tiruvallur District on 04.12.2003 vide sale deed No.5150 of 2003.

4. The petitioner is in absolute possession and enjoyment of the said property for more than 16 years. On 09.09.2019, the petitioner has given representation to the Special Tahsildar, Avadi to issue patta in his name based on the said title deed. Since, there was no action on the representation, the present Writ Petition has been filed within 21 days of submitting the application for issuance of patta.

5. In any event, the Special Tahsildar, (Town and Land Planning Officer) Avadi has reported to this Court through the Standing Counsel that the representation of the petitioner was taken up for consideration and enquiry has been conducted on 07.11.2019.

6. It is submitted by the Special Tahsildar that the documents produced by the petitioner were perused and verified. After inspecting the field, necessary orders will be passed by him within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
