This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed praying to exempt the petitioner to surrender before the appellate court on the judgment dated 31.07.2025 made in CA.No.428 of 2024 on the file of the Court of I Additional Sessions Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai confirming the judgment dated 16.05.2024 made in STC.No.491 of 2023 on the file of the Metropolitan Magistrate, FTC-II, Egmore at Allikulam, Chennai. 2.

Heard, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused, all the materials placed before this Court. 3.

It is seen that on the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the connected criminal revision case has been ordered to be posted on 29.08.2025 under the caption 'for reporting settlement'. Therefore, this petition is liable to be dismissed.
