A mere reading of the prayer shows that the prayer sought for by the petitioner has already become infructuous, as he sought for a direction to the third respondent / the Secretary to Government, Forest Department, Chennai, to stop the unauthorized festival said to have been held on 12.12.2016. Thus, nothing survives for further adjudication and accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No Costs. WMP.No.37000 of 2016 is closed.
