ORDER

The petitioner herein has been absconding in Spl.S.C. No.6 of 2025 on the file of Special Judge, Special Court for Trial of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotrophic 1 / 4

Substances Act Cases, Villupuram, for the alleged offence under Section 8(C), 20(b)(ii)(c), 25, 29(1) of NDPS Act, in connection with Crime No.15 of 2024, is now facing a non-bailable warrant.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that due to a medical condition, the petitioner was unable to attend the Trial Court. Therefore, for his absence, a non-bailable warrant was issued against him on 07.07.2025.

3. Since the Trial Court has issued a non-bailable warrant for his non appearance, the petitioner has to approach the said Court seeking recall of the warrant, explaining the reason for his absence. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail when a non bailable warrant is pending against the petitioner.
