ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The endeavour to remove the encroachments from the water area at Kappalur lake resulted in only the encroached area being demarcated as per the orders of the District Collector and thereafter, the concerned authorities appear to have left the matter at that for the past three months. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. We, thus, direct the District Collector, Thiruvannamalai to ensure that the proposed action in accordance with law is completed within fifteen days from the date of receipt of the order.

3. The writ petition, accordingly, stands disposed of. No costs.
