O R D E R
(Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.) The petitioner claims that there is a wilful disobedience of the order of the Division Bench of this Court dated 27.06.2024 made in W.A.No.1279 of 2024.

2. The petitioner, who was serving the respondent / Corporation was dismissed from service and the said dismissal was challenged in I.D.No.40 of 2012. The Labour Court allowed the said ID, setting aside the order of dismissal and modified the punishment by its award dated 25.02.2016. The said award of the Labour Court was challenged in W.P.No.9850 of 2017. The said writ petition came to be dismissed on 25.02.2016, confirming the award. The Corporation challenged the order in the writ petition in W.A.No.1279 of 2024, which came to be dismissed on 27.06.2024. As such there is an award of the Labour Court in favour of the petitioner which has been affirmed by a Division Bench of this Court. the remedy of the petitioner is to seek execution of the award in a manner known to law. Hence, this Contempt Petition is dismissed.
