Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw this writ petition stating that the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the endorsement, this writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
