O R D E R

(By J.Nisha Banu,J.) Challenging the decreetal order passed by the II Additional Principal Family Court, Chennai dated 16.08.2024 in O.P.No.4145 of 2023, declining to dissolve the marriage, the appellant is before this Court. 1/4

2. It is seen that during pendency of the instant appeal, the matter was referred for mediation.

3. Today, learned counsel on either side submitted that there was a consensus arrived at between the parties before the Mediator, as a result of which, both the appellant and the respondent decided to live together.

4. The Mediation Report dated 06.01.2025 has been forwarded by the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, High Court, Madras, to this Court, enclosing the Settlement Agreement dated 06.01.2025 entered into between the appellant and the respondent. The parties as well as the respective counsel have duly signed the Settlement Agreement, wherein it has been stated as follows:

"6. The Following settlement has been arrived at between the parties hereto.

a) The Appellant withdraw the CMA No.2893 of 2024 b) Both the parties have decided to live together amicably with any conditions.

7. By signing this agreement the parties hereto state that they have no further claims or demands against each other with 2/4

respect to CMA 2893 of 2024 High Court Madras and all disputes and differences in this regard have been amicable settled by the Parties hereto through the process of conciliation / Mediation."

5. In view of the aforestated amicable settlement arrived at between the parties, we are of the view that no further adjudication is required in this appeal. Accordingly, this Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is closed. No costs.
