O R D E R

1. Issue notice. Mr.Venkatesh, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. With the consent of the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The limited grievance of the petitioner is that he had preferred an application dated 18.11.2016, with the respondent, for grant of Contract Carriage Maxi Cab Permit, in respect of vehicle bearing Registration No.TN-18/A-7819.

3. Mr.Venkatesh, who appears for the respondent says that he would have no difficulty in this Court directing the respondent to consider the request made by the petitioner. 3.1. It is ordered accordingly.

4. The respondent will consider the request of the petitioner for grant of Contract Carriage Maxi Cab Permit in respect of vehicle bearing Registration No.TN-18/A-7819. Needless to say, the aforesaid exercise will be carried out as expeditiously as possible, though, not later than eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
