ORDER

The revision petitioner is the husband of the 1st respondent and the 2nd respondent is his son. The 1st respondent has given a complaint against the petitioner and his family members under the provisions of the Domestic Violence Act and after due enquiry, the same was taken cognizance by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Palladam in D.V.A.No.7 of 2016. The respondents have also filed Crl.M.P.No.3366 of 2016 under Section 23 of the Domestic Violence Act, 2005 seeking Rs.20,000/- towards maintenance for the 2nd respondent, the son of the petitioner. By order dated 17.04.2017, the learned Magistrate directed the petitioner to pay an additional sum of Rs.5,000/- along with the amount of Rs.5,000/- payable by the petitioner as per the order of this Court. Aggrieved over the same, the petitioner has filed the present Revision Case.

When the matter was called today, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the matter has been settled between the parties before the lower court, and, hence, nothing survives in the present Revision. Recording the above submission and endorsement made by the learned Counsel for the petitioner, the present Criminal Revision is closed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
